Our constitution and knitted boobs

See My Breast, See My Breast, See My Breast

Another great meeting today.  Thanks to all who came.

I have added a page to this website on our purpose and aims.  Please have a look and let us know what you think.

We have now agreed our constitution and can start formally applying for funding.  Yay!!

If you couldn’t make it today – or did make it but thought of something you wanted to say after you’d left (that is what usually happens with me) then let us know next week or contact us.  We will be getting a suggestion box in the new year so that people can give feedback anonymously if they prefer.

We really want to make sure that the group is meeting (and hopefully exceeding) people’s expectations and we’d love to hear your ideas for ways we can improve the group or ideas for supporting breastfeeding more generally.  All feedback is greatly appreciated.  Get involved! 🙂

And what was the knitted boob all about?  Well, Sian and I went straight from group today to peer support training with Ann Lewis and she has kindly donated us a knitted boob to use in group for demonstrating hand expressing.  The only problem is Eva got her hands (and mouth) on it and may not let us have it.  Luckily Ann said she can email us the pattern so if we have any knitters in the group who’d like to make some boobs that would be great.

See you all next week!
